BIO.

Hi, I’m Torey Strahl and I refuse to write this blurb in third person.

I’m an Emmy-, Shorty-, and Webby-winning (and Peabody-attending) creative based in Brooklyn. I’m a writer, illustrator, animator, editor, and voice actor working across comedy and animation.

I’ve developed a late-night TV show and multiple original animated series. I was named a 2025 Daddy’s List Director to Watch. My Adult Swim series Buzzard’s Bay has screened at Not Your Daddy’s Films, Houston Comedy Festival, Palm Springs Animation Festival, Silver Lake Shorts, Greenpoint Film Festival, Woods Hole Film Festival, and Iron Mule Film Festival. I won an Emmy for my work on The Colbert Report (2013-2024).

I’ve made stuff for Big City Greens (Disney), Adult Swim, Hacks, The Lonely Island’s production company Party Over Here, Comedy Central, Disenchantment (Netflix), The New Yorker, TBS, truTV, IFC, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Colbert Report.

I’ve done voice work for Disney, Adobe, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, The Colbert Report, Amazon Music, and more.

FUN FACTS.

Since 2023, I’ve hosted the Fort Greene Great PUPkin dog costume contest with my pug, Sushi, and my pal, Dan Fox.
