Hi, I’m Torey Strahl! I’m an Emmy-, Shorty-, and Webby-winning (and Peabody Award-attending) creative in Brooklyn. I’m a writer/animator/director/voice artist-type working in comedy and animation.

My credits include: [adult swim], The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Colbert Report, It’s Personal with Amy Hoggart, Comedy Central, and The New Yorker.

I received an Emmy (2014) for my work on The Colbert Report.

I was named a 2025 Daddy’s List Director to Watch for my [adult swim] series, Buzzard’s Bay, which screened at: Not Your Daddy’s Films, Houston Comedy Festival, Palm Springs Animation Festival, Silver Lake Shorts x Cartuna in LA and Brooklyn, Greenpoint Film Festival, Woods Hole Film Festival, and Iron Mule Fest.

I helped developed a late night series with Jax Media/TBS that became It’s Personal with Amy Hoggart (2020). I’ve developed animated series with Fuse TV and The Lonely Island’s production company Party Over Here.

I’ve edited and animated videos for: Hacks (HBO), Patriot Act (Netflix), Never Have I Ever (Netflix), Disenchantment (Netflix), Phineas & Ferb (Disney), Big City Greens (Disney), Disney TV Animation, HBO Max, Amazon Music, Universal Pictures, and more.
